Thanks, Tim! Great question, I'm not aware of any research that specifically talks about what types of developers work well together. One point that André emphasized was "awareness": if developers are aware of their colleagues' preferences, they'll naturally act in a way that respects others' preferred way of working.
I'll keep an eye out for more research surrounding this topic for a future issue.
